Medium drive

When driven by the medium, the movement (rotation) takes place through the cleaning medium flowing through. Certain minimum flow rates and minimum pressures are always necessary for proper function and operation of the devices.

External drive

In a external drive, the movement (rotation) by a geared motor (usually electric or pneumatic) takes place. The movement is always even and therefore independent of the flow rate and pressure.
